Jackson Herron

Chemical Engineer & Software Developer

My Story

I was born and raised in Park City, UT. After high school I was awarded the International Leader of Tomorrow scholarship to study at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, Canada. I completed my Bachelors of Applied Science with honors in Chemical and Biological Engineering in 2019. My academic highlights include working hands-on with a biodiesel startup in Montana, studying abroad at the Technical University of Denmark, and facilitating a climate-focused seminar in my final semester at UBC. Following up this experience, I enrolled in a Software Engineering Immersive with General Assembly SF to strengthen my digital skills for the Bay Area clean tech economy. With my educational experiences behind me, I look forward to embarking on a career in the clean energy revolution!
